The room
A supper house, not a spectacle
We opened in a former chandlery in 2009 with eight tables and one wood oven. The building still has its freight doors and the winch beam over the bar.
The cooking follows the lake and the season: pickerel and whitefish from Lake Ontario, root vegetables from Wolfe Island, curds from a dairy in Perth. Nothing on the plate travels further than it has to.
Chef Élise Beauchamp has run the kitchen since 2014.
